The hCard has always known that the key aspect of any business is the power of giving back. Community-minded businesses now know more and more that local is the secret sauce of commerce and it can increase profitability and success.

We have a steady game plan that involves multiple cities over the remainder of the year. It is through these efforts that small businesses, retail establishments, schools, and nonprofits get the focus and the opportunity for continuous growth.

Have a Safe New Year’s Eve From The hCard!

As this year closes and another begins, we want to take a minute and thank our emergency responders for everything they do. As evidenced by what has horrifically happened in Connecticut, they indeed can carry heavy burdens as part of their work and their personal lives. This New Year’s Eve will be no different from past New Year’s celebrations, a police car or EMS Unit will pull up to an accident scene about 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Our local heroes keep focused and our committed to our safety 24-7 all year long. It takes a special person to support our community when danger or tragedy strikes. The hCard does what we believe needs to be done in appreciation for our responders. We offer, for our police and firefighters, our Show and Save App dedicated to each organization; we include the sheriffs with the police and each of these important services have an opportunity to save hundreds of dollars at local merchants. The hCard and More is in Store for ’13

Over the past year, your hCard Team has grown in both community and focus to better serve businesses and individuals with national and local discounts, business community partnering, and fundraising. We want to grow even more in support of community in 2013 with a continuous alignment of relationship building and sharing, both locally and nationally, across the country.

More and more, The hCard is growing in stature and in opportunity. Because the foundation of what we do is grounded in an array of social causes, we have attracted much interest as we continuously develop our mission and core values.

One key aspect of what we do is completely web-based with a menu of mobile applications that are offered free to our military, firefighters, police and sheriffs, and community volunteers. It is through the hard work and efforts of our Founder/President, Sandra Burnett, that all of our vision is possible. It is the Season to Give and Receive! YES! Receive Mobile Apps Powered by The hCard!

For The hCard and for all of us, it is the Holiday Season and we are surrounded by good will and the wonderful Christmas classics on the radio. It is one of the best season to be community-focused and thankful for our health and our freedoms. As we gather at Christmas Tree lightings, Children’s Choir, evening parties, and church and synagogue services, we are grateful for all we have here in the USA.

This morning, as the police and firefighters in a nearby town cleared the main intersection from a traffic accident, we didn’t give them much thought other than the fact that our destination was being delayed by the unexpected jam up.

Across the vast oceans and countryside, it is a cool morning in Afghanistan as our soldiers, our sons and daughters, fight the haze and the high altitudes near Kabul to defend our freedoms.

And in schools across the country, volunteers deliver dictionaries and read stories to primary school children as their day of education and learning begins.

These are often the unsung heroes. And we all know that we often take many of their activities for granted. But each individual serves a dynamic role in making America better.

For those who serve this Holiday Season, we as civilians can indeed give back in appreciation for all they do. We offer free mobile apps to all in uniform and in spirit who make us better.
